The Harrisburg Horizon, Central Pennsylvania's professional basketball team, has successfully wrapped up their eighth season in the Eastern Basketball Alliance. Their on-court performance was impressive, with a 7-2 record that led to them repeating as League Champions in 2005. The team also received numerous post-season honors, with Coach Al Clocker being named Coach of the Year and forward Dave Jannuzzi taking home the EBA MVP award. But that's not all that sets the Harrisburg Horizon apart. The team has actively worked towards becoming a positive influence in their community. They have organized free basketball clinics, outreach programs, and player appearances to make themselves more visible and accessible to fans. In their third season, the Lady Horizon also achieved great success, winning the WEBA title with a perfect 9-0 record. Hilary Waltman was named WEBA MVP player.
